Like so many others new to the DD lifestyle, I feel like for every step forward that Bo and i take, we take two or three backward. I have this terrible habit of not being able to enjoy the jouney and just wanting the reach the destination. That WILL NOT work with DD! It is a journey that will take many forms during our years together. Why can't I get that through my head??

It does take time... and it sounds like you're doing really well. You're certainly aware of the fact that it can't be rushed... and that's a big step!

I can't help but think that with DD there isn't actually a destination, the whole thing is the journey.
I agree with Mr. C. The journey is what DD is. I think I know what you mean though. Sometimes we want to get past all the oddness of DD or the newness of it and just get to the part where we are comfy and cozy and it just drives itself. But..then you'd miss all the fun and love in the middle..not to mention all the spanking!
